The course provides the students with tools to apply a historical approach in the analysis and reconstruction of the memory of the city and the territory, the urban expressions of political violence and post-conflict architecture, at a local and global level. Through archival research and field work, different urban scenarios of political violence will be analyzed, using the cartographic and architectural representation of the urban context and selected infrastructures as instruments. Taking as a case study the affected places in Lima, with their various implications, problems and potentials; It seeks to link the memory of the conflict in the city with its current urban context, for a more resilient and conciliatory future.
